Panic Attacks at Night

Gemma had been experiencing night time panic attacks for some time following a very stressful time at work (she was on leave when I met her). She told me she would wake up in the night, knowing she was about to have an attack. A few days after the first session of EFT, she reported sleeping more soundly and feeling a little more in control when she did wake up, plus the symptoms were less intense. We worked on each symptom: racing heart, pounding in her head, sweating, and a sense of no control. After the second session, she said she’d woken up in the night on several occasions and felt “normal”, unafraid and in control. After a third EFT session, she is now sleeping very well and the panic attacks have stopped.
